Valgos

Valgos is associated foremost with the sun. He has also come to be seen as a god of fire, for obvious reasons. Some disparate cults also view him as a "god of light", and a sort of outwardly angelic being associated with the sky at large.

Valgos was born in Tai'Un into a trade caravan, and spent most of his early years having to flee from battle. When he reached adulthood, he decided to join a group known as "The Light's Grasp".

While the group was at first only intended to be a sort of peaceful brotherhood, who attacked only when provoked, they decided they needed to take action when The Overseer's armies were spotted nearby the most recent encampment.

They gathered all of the groups fighting men, as well as enlisting the help of multiple other caravans and began to attack the incomprehensible masses. This quickly garnered the attention of The Overseer, who began to tear through the group, subduing all of those the strongest willed with its mind. However, by this point almost all of its underlings had been defeated.

Severely weakened at this point, The Overseer was facing down only Valgos and another man. It opted to attack the other man, seeing as he had a weapon, while Valgos did not.

Valgos then proceeded to hit the creature with his bare fist, crushing what remained of its nervous system, and becoming a god.

Valgos is a tall human male, with blonde hair and bright blue eyes. He has rarely been observed to wear a full suit of armor, but he can usually only be seen wearing a pair of gauntlets. Around him is a radiant glow, that is blinding to look into, similar to staring into the sun. In fact, the light is so bright that, when he is clad in armor, it seems to shine a radiant gold color.

Most depictions show him essentially identical in build, but the facial features vary. It has proven quite difficult to get a direct look at Valgos, as though he spends a good amount of time among mortals, his radiant glow makes it nigh impossible to get a good reference.

Valgos has incredibly enhanced physical abilities, able to move exceedingly quick. He has never been observed to wield any sort of weapon, beyond the gauntlets. His preferred method of comabt seems to be hand-to-hand combat, opting to deal with his foes up close and personal.

He often also utilizes magic abilities as well as an auxillary option to enhance his fighting style.
