In 106 A.F., just as he had been the first to be witnessed slaying an Old God, Valgos would be the first witnessed and recognized definitively as having ascended. He matched precisely the descriptions that the Returnists had escribed to him, and he would personally confirm their theories. Unlike Utierres in 104, Valgos would speak quite earnestly to the people. He would explain who he was, and accept the godhood granted to him by the Returnists. He would not spend too much time among the people, but his presence was more than enough to dispel any doubt in the new Gods of Tellia.
The returns would continue over the next 20 years, seemingly at least loosely tied to the order that the Old Gods had been slain. Some of these would be anticipated and welcomed with open arms, such as Aphelia in 107 A.F. in Clairus. Others would come as a surprise and not even be recognized for who and what they were, such as Shaffat's First Judgment in 122 A.F. Each of the Gods would prove to be different from the last in one way or another, and the Returnists would fracture in turn, forming the precursors to the religious groups of today.
As the name implies, the majority of the Restoration would be spent adjusting and restoring the world to the glory it had been prior to the War In Heaven. From 130 A.F. to 257 A.F., this was in the most literal sense, rebuilding cities and redeveloping the land that had been lost. Notably, 232 would mark the reconstruction of Jailur.
Concurrently, the main religious groups that still persist to this day would develop during this period. Overtaking essentially every religion from off-continent, these religions had deities that would appear in the flesh every so often. The Gods of Tellia would be the guiding hand that would not only serve to motivate the people of the Restoration, but keep them in line as well.
The era would not be without its growing pains, however. While not ever cascading into a full on collapse, brief territorial wars would break out between colonies alarmingly often. Much like modern times, the Glistening Plains would be the most frequent place for these conflicts to break out. These territorial disputes would shape the continent into what it politically is today. For example, in 323 Vulas would emerge victorious as a superpower over the other orbiting kingdoms following the 6th Plains War.
The last 200 years or so of the Restoration would be spent Restoring, at least in part, the cultural identity of each region. Tai'Un, though it had been there for as long as anyone could remember, grew to encompass and envelop the area it does today.
The continent as a whole entered a golden age of the arts, often times with old pieces being revised to fit the framework of the Gods of Tellia. Those pieces that were unsalvageable, such as the now ruins of the Sovereign's Hall in what was once Alitessra, were left to the wayside. While some scholars disagree on exactly when the Restoration came to an end, the generally agreed period lays between 500-530 A.F. For the sake of this text, 512 AF is used, the year in which the Aphelian calendar was standardized.
