Lemphisa
DOMAIN
Lemphisa (pron. LIM'FISS'UH) is the god of life primarily. In addition to this, she is seen as a god of love, and its related passions. She has come to be associated with other loosely related concepts as well, such as beauty and desire as a whole.
ORIGIN
Lemphisa was born in Vulas, and lived in quite poor conditions as she grew up. Vulas was barely developed at the time, and even before the battles of the Fall of the Old Gods began it was constantly at war. Lemphisa was somewhat lucky, since, born with some magic potential, she was trained to be a healer, rather than a child soldier.
Even though she was just a healer, she still received significant combat training on par with what mages might receive in other armies, since the old gods did not follow the rules of traditional warfare. Despite the bleak conditions, Lemphisa thrived the best she could in this environment. Though many, many battles were being lost, the healers in the backline were consistently available to escape the absolute worst of it.
However, as more of the old gods began to fall, the Broodmother, severely wounded and desperate, charged their full company with no relent. Almost the entire army was slain, and looking to finish the job, it attacked the healers as well. Using her training in combat, she was able to haphazardly cast a few appropriate spells, and finish the creature off, ascending.
APPEARANCE AND DEPICTIONS
Lemphisa presents herself as a tiefling woman with light greyish white hair, and bright, reddish eyes. She wears a white, toga-like dress that contrasts with her darker skin. Several witnesses from multiple backgrounds have described her as unimaginably beautiful, more so than any mortal woman. Rarely, however, when going among humans, she will adopt a more muted appearance, as to not attract attention.
She carries with her a staff with a red base, golden design at the top embedded with a heart, and a ball shaped crystal at the very peak.
Lemphisa is depicted with the same basic features usually, differing slightly depending on the local areas beauty standards. No matter what they are, Lemphisa is presented as the apex of it.
ABILITIES
Lemphisa possesses a strong control of magic, but particularly holds mastery over life-based forms of it, such as healing and resurrection.
The staff she carries allows her to mend any wound it touches, flowing life energy directly into it.
Lemphisa seems to have a calming aura about here, which makes anyone in her presence feel at peace. It is speculated she could, in fact, make one feel anything, but it has not been empirically demonstrated
