Khisma

Colloquially, Khisma (pron. KIZZ'MUH) is the god of fate and order. However, while she accepts this moniker, and perhaps takes a delight in it, it is not entirely accurate. Khisma is truly a goddess of patterns, and says as much if directly asked. She is also commonly associated with academia as a whole by her followers, since she has an extensive knowledge of several subjects.

Khisma was born in Latisc , and lived a normal life for the time. At a young age, she showed extreme proficiency in studies of history, mathematics, and alchemy. Due to this, she opted to pursue a career as a basic mage, and later became a battle strategist.

She was highly sought after as a strategist, and when Latisc was under siege by one of the old gods, she was available to help arrange the battle plans. However, she arranged for much more than that.

When The Archivist arrived, she orchestrated a series of events in which the god would not only be defeated, but lead directly to the division that she was the head of when it was at its weakest point. They met The Archivist, and most of the on the ground forces were wiped out. However, Khisma, the only mage in the division, was able to strike it from afar, dealing the killing blow and undergoing apotheosis.

Khisma presents herself as a human woman in her early 20's, with green eyes and dark hair. She wears a bluish cloak with moving designs on it, which can be observed to repeat if one looks long enough. She typically has a deck of cards, crystal ball, or similar item with her.

Her depictions usually take few liberties ,if any, since she is often observed in the mortal realm. The most common alteration is what item she is holding, depending on the cultural background and common methods of divination in a given area.

Khisma was known to be a powerful magic user even before her ascension, and seems to have only improved in that regard. Though, she does not seem to prefer any specific form of magic, and has been observed using multiple different forms of it.

She also is capable of a form of limited prescience, showing her an image of what will happen within the next hour. She cannot, for example, predict a speech word-for-word as it unfolds, but she would be able to know its general tone and topic beforehand. This, in tandem with her incredible understanding of patterns, supposedly gives her a clear view of the future.
