Aphelia

Aphelia (pron. AY'FEEL'EE'UH) is primarily seen as the "goddess of the moon", but, as with every other god of Tellia, posesses many other monikers. She is often associated with essentially every extraterrestial phenomenon (i.e. the sweeping star observed every 12 years known as the "Moon's Tear"), as well as the vague "land above skies" said to rest above the planet. In some sects, particularly in the freezing northern kingdoms, she is also correlated with the dancing lights, and seen as a general winter deity.

Aphelia is said to have descended to Tellia in approximately within the inside of a sort of large geode. While the exact origin and shape of the object are difficult info to come by, due to the nature of ancient records, it is presumed the material was of the heavens, as it matched with many smaller rocks observed to fall from the aforementioned "land above skies".

When Aphelia emerged from the geode, she was observed to be around 7 years old, and was just as confused as the townspeople to her own origin. The addled child was taken in by the nearest village to the site, and raised by a local family.

It is said that she was found to be particularly proficient in magic at a young age, as well as fascinated with astronomy. She would live a rather standard life by all accounts of the time, becoming an established and extrordinarily powerful mage by 25.

She would later be appointed to the head of an army, and with the help of it slay The Voyager and claim her godhood.

Aphelia appears as an unnaturally thin elf woman, and has short blonde hair. She has unnaturally dark blue eyes (that is, of a shade not typically seen in eye color). Her limbs are incredibly elongated, some eyewitnesses describing them as up to two times as long as you might typically expect. She typically wears casual clothes that have seemingly been altered to fit her extended anatomy.

Depictions of Aphelia usually show her floating through the sky in some way, or take even greater creative liberties to show her in an imagined "sky above skies". There is little difference between depictions of her physical appearance beyond art style, as Aphelia is something of a public figure and has provided multiple reference points for portraits.

Aphelia is an abnormally proficient magic user, specifically when dealing with gravity and force-based techniques.

She is uniquely capable of altering the weight and density of objects around her, allowing her to perform great feats of "strength". It is believed careful manipulation of this ability is also what facilitates her flight.
